Sherri Oleniczak

Sherri was born and raised in Ludington and has worked at VMC since June 2002. She married her high school sweetheart Tim in 1990 and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Shelby(and son-in-law Ase Personette) and Rylie (who still lives at home) and 2 adorable granddaughters, who totally have nana wrapped around their fingers!
She has 1 spoiled Rottweiler named Rubee who thinks she is a lap dog and weighs about 100lbs.
In her spare time away from the clinic she enjoys spending time with her family and friends kayaking down the river or floating out in Hamlin Lake on the pontoon. She also enjoys camping, baking, hanging around a campfire, reading, shopping, crafting and trying to make more time for travel.

Jyl Miller
Customer Service Representative
Jyl has always had a deep love for animals. After attending an Explorers class at VMC through Ludington High School, Jyl was hired into her dream job, February 15th of 1988. In the 30 plus years that Jyl has worked here, she has done many different tasks. Currently she is one of our Receptionists. Jyl works part-time so that she can be an involved parent to her daughter, Chesna, son, Torin, many indoor cats, and to care for her elderly mother.
Some of Jyl's favorite things are water activities, nature hikes, camping, visiting friends around a fire, the 4th of July, Christmas, traveling to Southern Florida and attending car meets with her AMO or Mopa muscle cars.

Michelle
Veterinary Technician
Michelle grew up in Ludington after moving from Buffalo, NY when she was five years old. She's been with VMC since April 2014. Her cats, Hamilton, Kennedy, Wilson and Ruthie and her dog, Diggs are all patients here! Currently she is working towards becoming a licensed veterinary technician through Penn Foster. When she's not at VMC she likes to spend her free time reading, running and watching the latest movies with her family and friends.

Brandi Caloia
Certified Veterinary Technician
Brandi moved here from down state Michigan and joined our team in July of 2021. She loves taking care of all animals, but horses and large animals are her favorite. Her dream is to become a veterinarian, but for now she is working on becoming a licensed veterinary technician.
Her daughters are her life and take up all of her spare time. They love learning about animals and having all sorts of fun with them!

Katy Thacker

Katy moved to Michigan from Texas in the fall of 2018. She began her career working with animals when she was 15 where she cared for boarding animals and learned to train dogs. She worked in sheltering and animal rescue for 10 years before relocating to Ludington. She joined our team in the Spring of 2021 and is passionate about animal rescue. She has two dogs and loves snakes.
She enjoys spending time with her kids. She also enjoys PC, consol and table-top gamins as well as watching movies.

Meghan Gillies
Office Manager
Meghan joined the VMC team in January of 2020. She was born and raised in Ludington and a graduate of Michigan State University. She and her husband have 2 daughters, Clara and Lily. Her family also has a Labrador named Anna, an inside cat named Gabby, an outside cat named Gus, a horse named Gunner and the newest addition is a Golden Doodle named Elsa.
Meghan has always enjoyed being around animals and can usually be found at the barn, at a horse show or down at the fairgrounds coaching for the Ludington Equestrian Team. Her newest venture is being a show mom for her oldest daughter who also has a love for horses.
She also enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends and sewing.
